MealGuard stores all your data locally on your device. We do not have servers that store your personal information. This means you have full control over your data at all times.

How to delete your data

You can delete your data in two ways:

Option 1: Delete data within the app

  1. Open MealGuard
  2. Go to Settings → Profiles
  3. Select a profile and tap the delete button to remove the profile and all its avoid list items
  4. Repeat for any additional profiles

This deletes all profile data, avoid list items, and avatar images associated with that profile.

Option 2: Uninstall the app

Uninstalling MealGuard from your device permanently deletes all app data, including:

What about backup files?

If you previously exported a backup using the app's Backup & Restore feature, the exported zip file remains in the location where you saved it. You must delete this file manually, as it is outside the app's control.

Third-party data

MealGuard uses Google AdMob (advertising) and Firebase Analytics. These services may have collected anonymised usage data subject to your consent. To manage this data, visit Google's Data & Privacy settings.
